Plan to join the NACRC Board of Directors for the 2008 Fall Board Strategic Planning and Committee Meetings being held Sept. 12-14, 2008.

Accommodations

A block of rooms has been reserved at Houston’s Inn at the Ballpark for Friday through Sunday nights, Sept. 12-14, 2008. Please make your own hotel reservations directly by calling 866.406.1520 before Aug. 13, 2008 in order to receive the conference room rate of $149 plus tax per night. Be sure to mention “NACRC Fall Board Meeting.”

Travel

Attendees should plan to fly into either George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) which is 19.8 miles away or William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) which is 10.1 miles away.

Itinerary

If you are looking for an opportunity to become more involved in the association, this is the meeting for you.  Planning sessions will be held for each of NACRC’s Interest Groups to begin working on the educational programs for the 2009 conference year and the Interest Group chairs welcome your input on session topics, speakers, etc.

The weekend will begin with a President’s Reception & Dinner on Friday night, Sept. 12 at 6:30 pm at Vic Anthony’s Steak House.  A continental breakfast will kick off the day’s board and committee meetings Saturday, followed in the evening by watching the Astros v. Cubs game at a Minute Maid Park Suite. On Sunday, we’ll finish the board and committee meetings, and be wrapped up in time to catch flights home at a decent time.
