Accommodations
The Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is located right across the street from the Reno/Sparks Convention Center. Check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is noon. The conference is extending a special rate starting at $139 for a standard single/double occupancy room, not including additional surcharges and taxes. For reservations, please call 800.723.6500 and mention “NACRC 2010 Annual Conference” before Monday, June 14.
Airline Travel
Atlantis is located one mile away from the Reno-Lake Tahoe International Airport (RNO). Atlantis provides a free airport shuttle. This service runs at 15 and 45 minutes after the hour from 5:15 am to 12:45 am leaving the airport. The shuttle leaves the hotel on the hour and 30 minutes after the hour from 5 am to 12:30 am.
Reno/Lake Tahoe Tour
Join us Thursday, July 15 before the Annual Conference for a tour through Reno-Tahoe-Carson City, including a paddle-wheel boat tour and lunch on Lake Tahoe, a driving tour of Reno and a visit to the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City. Click here for more details. The total cost is $100 per person, which includes transportation, lunch and all tour tickets. A membership meeting will be conducted in conjunction with the tour.
Vendor Fair Information: The NACRC Annual Conference will host a Vendor Fair on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17 from 10 am–4 pm each day. The NACRC Annual Conference typically has 120 attendees made up of county recorders, election officials and clerks from all over the country. The Vendor Fair will feature 10 x 10 booths for tabletop displays. Set up will be on Thursday, July 15 from 6-8 pm, and breakdown will be after 3:30 pm on Saturday, July 17.
