NACRC is a professional organization of elected and appointed county administrative officials, who network on a national level to share information and ideas. Whether you are a newly elected county official or a have a long career in county government, you will find tremendous resources here, in our virtual home.

Founded in 1949, with members hailing from nearly every state of the union, NACRC has the history and breadth to help you solve the problems you confront in office.

Three times a year, our members join together at regional and national conferences to share innovations and discuss policy.

Plus, we use this website to keep you up-to-date twelve months a year. As an affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACo), we post legislative updates on pending matters of national significance. And as an association of professionals facing similar challenges to modernize records and meet new election standards, we offer links to the leading vendors in the field on our front page.

NACRC Objectives:

    • To provide our members opportunities to exchange ideas and information on a national level concerning their offices.
    • To provide continuing education, including the opportunity to become a Certified Public Official.
    • To help keep abreast of the latest technologies.
    • To have a stronger voice on Federal legislation affecting our offices.
    • To help you when you need answers!

NACRC is an affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACo), the unified voice of county government in Washington, D.C., advancing the concerns of county officials in the legislative process.

NACRC’s relationship with the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) began with a joint venture in the form of a taskforce that also included NACRC, IACREOT, ALTA and other organizations interested in advancing the public records management industry through a collaborative effort that would result in the development of industry standards.  That taskforce evolved into a stand-alone, not-for-profit entity that brings government and business together to solve industry problems in an environment that fosters open discussion and shared solutions.
